This race stands alongside of the National Capital 20 Miler as one of DC Road Runners’ premium events\, attracting elite competition from within the DMV and across the country.DC Road Runners organizes this event in conjunction with the Del Ray Business Association. The Turkey Trot also provides support to ALIVE!\, a nonprofit that combats food and housing insecurity in Alexandria.Join us for a flat and fast USATF-certified 5-mile course through Del Ray. This race offers a generous assortment of awards and stellar swag. The Turkey Trot is a great way to start your Thanksgiving festivities\, and it supports a good cause.
