SUMMARY:Age-Graded 4-Miler
DESCRIPTION:Home » Events\n\n\n\n\nCelebrate the Fourth of July holiday with DC Road Runners. Join us for our annual Age-Graded 4-Miler.This event features staggered start times for each runner based on age and gender. These start times make use of specialized handicap tables that are based on national age group records. The goal is still to get to the finish line first\, but if things go according to plan\, the staggered start times will heighten the competition at the end. With a staggered age-graded start\, runners should finish in a large pack. \n\n\n\nPrizes and Awards\n\n\n\nAll runners should bring a small random prize to the event. The more random\, the better. Each runner will have the opportunity to pick from the pile of random prizes based on their overall place. \n\n\n\nRegistration Fees\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nRace Organizer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Location

SUMMARY:RRCA Group Run
DESCRIPTION:Home » Events\n\n\n\n\nDC Road Runners is proud to host the 2026 RRCA Convention Group Run. This event is open to all RRCA Conference attendees and to the club membership. There are only two requirements for attendance: \n\n\n\n\nClub members who attend the run should wear DC Road Runners gear.\n\n\n\nEveryone should be in good spirits and should be prepared to host runners from across the country.\n\n\n\n\nThe distance for the day will be just short of four miles\, and the pace is meant to be conversational. Everyone should use this run as an opportunity to do some loose networking and to kickstart a great weekend for the Cherry Blossom Ten Miler festivities. We will meet in the lower level lobby of the Crystal City DoubleTree hotel at 6:15 am for a group photo and general announcements. Ultimately\, we will plan to leave for the run between 6:30 and 6:45.We’ll plan to be back at the hotel by 8:00 am.Though there isn’t a formal registration process for this run\, we do ask that you contact the DCRR Training Team to let them know if you are interested in running with the group. That way\, we can have an accurate headcount for the event. Please note that participation in this run does not provide registration for the main conference. Conference registration is managed directly by the RRCA and is entirely separate from this one event. We hope you will join us. Springtime DC sunrises are a great time to run! \n\n\n\n\n\nRun Organizers\n\n\n\n\n\nRun Start Location
