SUMMARY:Intro to Track—Wednesday Edition
DESCRIPTION:Home » Events\n\n\n\n\nAs part of our June Jump-Start Program\, DC Road Runners is offering an Introduction to Track Running event at our standing Wednesday Night Track workout. This event is scheduled for June 17\, and it will begin at 7:00 pm (participants should arrive early to warm up prior to the formal event).Coach Ed Grant will offer an orientation to the basics of track running and speed workouts\, both of which are essential components of formal training for any race distance. This introduction is designed specifically for the club’s fall training programs\, but the event is open to any interested participants\, and we definitely encourage runners who are new to track running (and speed training more generally) to attend. We want to demystify the track! To sweeten the deal\, the event will include a drawing for DCRR swag\, and the night will conclude with a group outing at one of Arlington’s many excellent hangout spots. \n\n\n\nRegistration Fees\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Organizer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Location
