The school is located on 7th St NW about 3 miles north of the National Mall.

To get to Howard from Rock Creek, take Calvert St. into Adams Morgan, then take Euclid (next to City Bikes store) to Howard, which is at 7th St (Georgia Ave).

At the northeast corner of the University is McMillan Reservoir, which can be run around to 1st St NW. Return towards the Capitol and the Mall on 1st St. NW.
