Summer Race Roundup

It’s been a hot summer in DC, as it always is, and things have been even hotter in the club. The Bastille Day 5K and the Bluemont 5K generated huge crowds and fast times. Thank goodness that Wendy the Water Drop came out to cool things off.

The heat, as we know, forced us to reschedule the Age-Graded 4-Miler. In a thematically fitting fashion, that race has moved through time and is now scheduled for August 2.

There are still a few Bunion Derby races left in this year’s series. Also, don’t miss this year’s Family Night at the Track, organized with Potomac Valley Track Club.
