Running the DMV Since 1961
Treasurer—Kristina Graff
Kristina Graff currently serves as Treasurer. She has been a club member since 2019, when she moved to the DMV.
Post-pandemic, she became a Saturday Long Run regular, and over time, she began attending other weekly runs and some low-key races as a volunteer or runner. The more time she spent doing club activities, the more she felt connected to the DCRR community, and the more she wanted to get involved. This led her to become a training program pacer and then to join the board of directors.

Running Background
Kristina started running in her tween years and ran sporadically through her late 20s. In her 30s she began distance running, completing her first half-marathon in 2005; she has been hooked ever since. She ran her first full marathon in 2012, swearing up and down from miles 20 onward that it would also be her last . . . and she has since done eight more full marathons and an undetermined number of half-marathons, 10-mile, 10k, and 5k races.
Extracurricular Activities
Outside of running, Kristina works in global public health and social impact, and she is passionate about equitable access to health care. She has volunteered with the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, and the Washington-Liberty High School Theatre Boosters. When she is not working, running, or volunteering, her favorite activities are spending time with her teenage kids, spending time with friends, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
Running has taught Kristina countless life lessons, most of which tie back to this simple mantra: keep going.
