Notice of Special Membership Meeting and vote on a DCRRC By-Laws change. This will be held this Wednesday night Dec 16 at 7PM before start of our annual Holiday Relays. As announced at our November Happy Hour the DCRRC Board of Directors would like to officially change the roles of several board member positions. This is based on the needs and interests of our membership. The board would like to change 5 board member positions to bring more focus on training and races. The DC Roadrunners Board of Directors proposes to change the following paragraph of the current by-laws from:
ARTICLE VII - BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SECTION 1. COMPOSITION. The number of Directors shall be thirteen. The Board of Directors shall consist of: directors elected as President, Vice President for Operations, Vice President for Race Schedule, Vice President for Training, Secretary, and Treasurer, and five Directors elected as Director-at-Large, with at least one residing in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, respectively. The Webmaster and the Membership Secretary shall serve as ex officio voting members of the Board.

The Webmaster and the Director for Membership/Volunteer Coordination shall serve as ex officio voting members of the Board.
Additionally, the board would like to update our out-of-date mailing address and clarify family memberships to be the following:
"Any member of the immediate household holding a family membership shall be entitled to all privileges of membership, except that the family membership is entitled to a separate vote for each member over the age of 17. "
