SLR Dec 14 - Arlington Triangle

Hello Saturday Runners!

Happy Friday the 13th!  Saturday's route will be the Arlington Triangle loop, which is about 16 miles in distance.  Running it standard direction, ie clockwise.  If you want less than 16 you'll probably have to make it an out and back.

Thank you to Paul and Christine Westcott for post-run drink work! We could always use additional drink volunteers - this is also a great way to fulfill any snowball series volunteer requirements. Its not a lot of work and the club reimburses your expenses. Check the SLR Webpage for dates of need - email SLR@dcroadrunners.org if you can help out!

Most water fountains will be off for winter, but there should be water in and around the bathrooms next to the tennis courts after Bluemont Park around 10.5 miles in.

Lots of fun stuff coming up!  The winter relays are this Wednesday at the W&L Track, with post-run Happy Hour to follow at Carpool.  Next Saturday after SLR we are doing brunch at 4 Courts Pub in Courthouse immediately following SLR, so come warm up, recap your races and get some free goodies too!

Stay warm,

-- Erik
