Hello Saturday Runners!
The route for Saturday March 28 will be 22 miles on the Capital Crescent / Rock Creek Loop (aka Big Loop). Three weeks out from the Boston Marathon, this is a good chance to get your last long run. Whlie this route has a number of water fountains along the way, it's still relatively early in the spring with a forecasted temperature not much above freezing on Saturday morning, so I'd suggest carrying your own fluids if it's important to you.
Thank you Lucy Cutler for providing post-run drinks this weekend! We will need beverage volunteers for the rest of the spring starting next week, so please volunteer now if you plan to be at SLR for at least two consecutive weeks. Post-run drinks will not resume after this weekend until volunteer slots are filled. Visit the SLR page any time to see current needs, and email if you can help. This is an easy way to support your fellow runners, and the club will reimburse all expenses.
