Hello Saturday Runners!
This weekend's route is Piney Branch (downloads: cue sheet and GPS), for a little under 12 miles. If you'd like to lengthen it to 16 miles, continue straight up 16th St all the way past Military Rd to take a left on Joyce Rd. This will bring you to the top of the Beach Dr and Ross Dr loop, where you can head south and re-join the mapped route after adding 4 miles.
Thank you Kate Scott for post-run drinks and Kam Yee for mid-run drinks this week! Mid-run drinks will be located at about 6 miles into the run, on the side of the road as you're heading down Piney Branch Pkwy towards Rock Creek Park.
We have post-run and mid-run beverage volunteer coverage for the next couple weeks, but will need more help in September and beyond, particularly for mid-run drinks, so please let me know when you can help out.
