Hello Saturday Runners!
A while back we took the Southeast route out of our lineup because of intense heat. This weekend, heat is not anticipated to be a factor... however, the Chain Bridge being closed to all pedestrian traffic IS a factor. As it turns out, the mileage for our inaccessible Marymount route is spot-on with the mileage for our cancelled SE route. As a result, we'll be touring SE DC this Saturday!
Thanks to Ben Danforth for informing me of the closure, to Andrew Kent for providing the route details (see below), and to Joe Emerson for providing out midpoint beverages wherever we may need them (in Anacostia, as it happens). Thanks also to Janet Braunstein who is taking over post-run beverages for October.
Hope to see you all on Saturday!
Kristin
