The 2025 DC Road Runners Club Banquet and Awards Dinner will take place on Sunday, March 2nd.

The banquet will be hosted at Maggiano's Little Italy in Friendship Heights.

Registration will be open until noon on Sunday March 2nd!

Highlights: This is a DC Road Runners Club signature event and is family friendly.  The evening features our annual club awards, election of a new board of directors, state-of-the-club presentation and guest speakers.  We will present our annual awards for most outstanding and improved athletes, we will also recognize our top coach and volunteer and elect a new board of directors for the the 2025-26 term.

Speaker: Our featured speaker this year will be Alex Hetherington, race director of the Marine Corps Marathon! He’s a retired Marine aviator and was a member of the All-Marine running team from 1995 to 2009. Hetherington’s running accolades include winning the inaugural Armed Forces Marathon Championship in 1998, which is an embedded competition within the Marine Corps Marathon. Hetherington was inducted into the Marine Corps Marathon Hall of Fame in 2009 and has run the MCM 27 times.

Schedule:
4:15pm Cash bar.
5:00pm Reception/dinner, awards, and speeches.

Pre-registration is required in advance of this event. DCRRC Members and their guests only:

• The cost for adults is $35 through Wednesday, February 26th; $40 from February 27th to noon on March 2nd.
• Children 5 and under are free but must be pre-registered.

Dinner will include a large, family-style dinner and a cash bar.
