2025 Jamestown 5K Run and Walk
The Jamestown PTA presents the 2025 Jamestown Fun Run & Walk 5k on Saturday, May 17th! We are excited to bring back this community event for the first time since 2019! Thank you for your support of the Jamestown PTA, which has made covering the majority of expenses for this event possible.
Who: This fun run is open to any community members who would like to participate (not limited to current Jamestown students). Participation medals will be presented to all finishers at the end of the race. Strollers are not allowed, as the course will be on sidewalks and grass. Pets are not allowed, as they are not permitted on the school grounds.

The race will begin and end in the Jamestown Elementary front loop. The course will leave the school grounds on N. Delaware St. and proceed on sidewalks through the surrounding neighborhoods, looping through the back fields of our school grounds and around the back campus. It will be two well-marked 1.55 mi. loops. Police support and parent volunteers will be stationed along the course. There will be one water station along the route after the first loop, and post-race snacks and water at the end. We will have music along the course as well and encourage the community to show their support by cheering on participants!
Time Limit: All participants should be able to complete the full 5K course within 90 minutes.
Packet Pickup: Jamestown Elementary School
Parking: Delaware Street will be closed to through traffic, but standard street parking is available in any of the neighborhoods near the course. Walking, biking, or drop off by car or Uber on N. Albemarle Street near the race start is also encouraged.
