2019 One Mile and 3K Track Championships

The Club's annual 1-Mile and 3K track championships will take place Saturday, July 13, starting at 4:50 pm.

The 2019 event will once again be held at Dunbar High School in the heart of Washington, D.C. and will be the final stop of the Eastern Track League series http://easterntrackleague.com/

Take to the track and see how fast you can run a single mile against your running friends and rivals!

  • 5:19 PM - Mile Ladies heat 1 Women's any pace above 7:00
  • 5:39 PM - Mile Men heat 1 Men's any pace above 7:00
  • 5:59 PM - Elite 800 C (W)
  • 6:03 PM - Elite 800 B (W)
  • 6:07 PM - Elite 800 D (M)
  • 6:11 PM - Elite 800 C (M)
  • 6:15 PM - Masters Mile Men (must run under 10:00)
  • 6:27 PM - Master Mile Ladies (must run under 10:00)
  • 6:39 PM - Mile heat 2 mixed under 7:00
  • 6:49 PM - Elite 800 A (W)
  • 6:53 PM - Mile heat 3 mixed under 6:30
  • 7:03 PM - Mile heat 4 mixed under 6:00
  • 7:12 PM - Mile heat 5 mixed under 5:45
  • 7:20 PM - Mile heat 6 fast ladies under 5:45
  • 7:28 PM - Mile heat 7 fast men under 5:00
  • 7:35 PM - Elite 800 B (M)
  • 7:39 PM - Elite 800 A (M)
  • 7:43 PM - ATC Elite 1500 (W)
  • 7:50 PM - ATC Elite Mile (M)
3K steeple and track heats:
  • 8:10 Open 3K (not steeple)

The Track Championships are FREE to all runners, member and non-member alike.  We request that runners pre-register to help us plan better, but show-ups-and-sign-ups are welcome too!

Masters must run in the masters heats to be elegible for awards.

Parking:
You may park on the streets surrounding Dunbar High School (O, N, 1st, streets NW) as well as the parking lot at Friendship Armstrong academy on O Street NW.
 
Metro:
NOMA metro stop on the Red Line
Mt Vernon Square/Convention center Stop on the Green/Yellow line
Both metro stations are around half a mile from the track.
