Packet Pickup:

Packet pickup will be at HB Woodlawn, 4100 Vacation Lane, lobby near the auditorium on Thursday morning 8am to 9:15am and afternoon 4-5:15.  It will also be at Potomac River Running Store, 3924 Wilson Blvd, Arlington  from 6pm to 8pm on April 19.

Register race day from 6:45-7:45am at Potomac Overlook Park

Race will start at 8:00 am

Timing and Awards: This race is timed using the Chronotrack timing system, please familiarize yourself with how the timing tags work by visiting the Chronotrack website. Though this race is chip timed, scores will be determined by gun time for all award winners.

• Water-related diseases are the leading cause of death for children under age 5.
• Women and girls spend hours each day collecting water.
• Without access to latrines, girls stop attending school once they reach puberty.
• Worldwide, 2.5 billion people lack access to adequate sanitation.
• 1 million deaths (mostly children!) occur yearly due to diarrhea.

Our goal is to help fund water, sanitation and hygiene education projects for schools in developing countries. We are supporting two schools, Baliarpur Registered Non-Government Primary School in Bangladesh and the other in Haiti.
